Our Biblical Purpose: What God Has Called Us To Do
As children of God,
members of the body of Christ,
and the temple of the Holy Spirit,
we believe that God has called us
- To Glorify GOD by loving and worshiping Him
We express our love for God in worship by adoring, praising, celebrating, thanking and acknowledging Him, and by offering Him ourselves and our prayers of confession, petition, and intercession.
This means that we are to be LOVERS and WORSHIPERS of GOD.
- To Build Up ONE ANOTHER toward Christ-likeness
We express our love for one another in the family of faith by teaching God’s Word, meeting each other’s needs, promoting unity in our church body, and sharing life together in fellowship.
This means that we are to be ENCOURAGERS and SERVANTS of one another.
- To Share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the WORLD
We express our love for the lost both by our words of grace and by our deeds of mercy as well as by our prayers of intercession. This means that we are to be His WITNESSES.
Our Core Values: What God Has Taught Us To Be Important
THE WORD OF GOD serves as our authoritative guide for truth and life, and therefore, we highly value the preaching and teaching of the Bible.
THE WORSHIP OF GOD is the eternal and indispensable activity of our church as we continually respond to Him with faith and obedience.
PRAYER is communication with God in which we offer praise, adoration, thanksgiving, confession, petition, and intercession to the Father through the Son in the Spirit.
FELLOWSHIP is sharing life together and building each other up by meeting each other’s needs and serving one another so that we become increasingly Christ-like.
DISCIPLESHIP AND TRAINING is crucial in developing fully devoted followers of Jesus and in equipping our members for the work of service.
REACHING OUT to our community and beyond with the love of God is sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and ministering to the needs of people.
